Manufacturing Planning Manager Lead Production. Drive Efficiency. Make an Impact. We're looking for an experienced Manufacturing Plannning Manager to lead production planning, scheduling, material coordination, and order execution in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. In this role, you'll be the critical link between Sales, Engineering, Purchasing, Inventory Control, and Production, ensuring customer orders are delivered accurately, on time, and efficiently. You'll play a key role in optimizing production processes, improving inventory management, supporting ERP initiatives, and leading a high-performing team while fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement. This position provides leadership to production control and expediting personnel, supports ERP system implementation and enhancements, and promotes a culture of safety, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement throughout the organization What You'll Do Manage production work orders, including communication, follow-up, and schedule changes. Coordinate production planning, material allocation, and inventory to support manufacturing demands. Assign raw materials to jobs, oversee inventory, and purchase production materials as needed. Monitor and expedite purchase orders to ensure on-time fulfillment of customer orders. Review sales orders, engineering drawings, contracts, and project documentation to ensure production requirements are met. Support ERP system implementation, maintenance, and process improvements. Develop and improve production control processes that enhance internal operations and customer satisfaction. Lead and develop the production control and expediting teams. Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and reduce delays. Collaborate across departments to resolve issues and keep production running smoothly. Champion workplace safety, accountability, ethics, and company values. What Makes You Successful Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven. Comfortable working independently in a collaborative, fast-paced manufacturing environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office and ERP systems. Qualifications Associate degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of production planning, production control, or related manufacturing experience. 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience. Lean Manufacturing experience preferred. Ability to safely work in a manufacturing environment, including extended periods of sitting and computer use. Working Conditions Fast-paced manufacturing environment. Frequent standing, walking, and computer use. Exposure to manufacturing noise and varying temperatures. Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. $80K - $90K with potential bonus opportunities.
Pay:
$80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
