Job Description
About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Senior Director of Quality Systems & Continuous Improvement to lead and strengthen our quality management programs across multiple manufacturing locations. This strategic leadership role will drive operational excellence, quality system performance, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement initiatives in a rapidly growing manufacturing environment serving leading Heavy Truck OEMs. Key Responsibilities
Lead the quality management system across multiple manufacturing facilities and oversee global quality initiatives.
Develop and maintain world-class quality processes, systems, and performance metrics.
Ensure alignment of internal processes to achieve exceptional product quality, customer satisfaction, and competitive advantage.
Build and maintain strong relationships with major OEM customers and key stakeholders.
Serve as the quality leadership representative in customer, supplier, and internal business discussions.
Champion Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement methodologies throughout the organization.
Lead, coach, and develop plant teams in the application of lean principles and quality best practices.
Drive operational excellence through the implementation of: o Kaizen Events o Problem Solving Methodologies o 5S o Error Proofing (Poka-Yoke) o Quick Changeover (SMED) o Team Development o Value Stream Mapping o Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) o Six Sigma DMAIC Tools
Establish and sustain a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and measurable results. Qualifications Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in quality, manufacturing, continuous improvement, or operations.
Recent hands-on experience implementing Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated success implementing, maintaining, and improving comprehensive quality management systems.
Strong expertise in work-study analysis, process improvement, and performance measurement.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard business software applications.
Excellent leadership, communication, and customer relationship management skills. Preferred
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience in metal stamping, metal fabrication, or related manufacturing industries.
Experience supporting automotive or heavy truck OEM customers.
Knowledge of
IATF 16949
