Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a hands‑on Plant Manager to lead daily operations at our small manufacturing facility within a larger corporate division. This role oversees production, scheduling, quality, safety, and customer communication to ensure efficient, high‑quality output. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate production with VP of Manufacturing and department supervisors Communicate with customers regarding quotes, contracts, production status, and quality issues Oversee scheduling, workflow, and material requisition Ensure employee training, development, and safety compliance Evaluate supplier qualifications and performance Maintain ISO compliance and documentation Support continuous improvement and operational efficiency Requirements Proven experience in production management within a manufacturing environment with a strong understanding of manufacturing management systems. Expertise in ERP systems. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel data analysis for operational insights. Excellent team leadership skills with the ability to motivate diverse teams and facilitate cross-functional collaboration. Knowledge of quality control standards and safety regulations pertinent to manufacturing operations. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Management or related field or 4+ years combined education/managerial experience in tool & die or precision manufacturing.
