Lean Value Stream Plant Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead our manufacturing operations in Union Grove, WI. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the production process, from order completion through final product delivery. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with experience in lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and developing high-performing teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all plant manufacturing operations to ensure safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals are achieved. Develop and implement lean manufacturing strategies that improve efficiency and eliminate waste. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and increase operational performance. Lead, coach, and develop production supervisors and employees while fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork. Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure effective communication and alignment across the business. Oversee plant equipment maintenance and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime. Analyze production schedules and workflows to meet customer demands while maximizing efficiency. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards. Manage facility budgets and control manufacturing costs while meeting production objectives. Develop and implement employee training and cross-training programs to build workforce capability and flexibility.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field. Proven experience leading a manufacturing plant or large production operation. Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. Experience in made-to-order or highly engineered manufacturing environments preferred. Excellent leadership, communication, and team development skills. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency with manufacturing systems and Microsoft Office applications. Ability to adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with changing priorities. Lean Manufacturing certification is preferred but not required.

Full-time Pay:
$110,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
