Teaching Full Job Description Job Summary:
Effectively supervise ECA Medical's production operations to adhere to all company policies and to follow standard operating procedures to achieve quality, schedule, and performance goals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Supervise component, assembly, and packaging operations, materials, equipment, processes, and people to achieve production goals.
  • Ensure work instructions are followed, and equipment and tooling are maintained in accordance with ECA standards.
  • Ensure employees training is completed within required timelines.
  • Identifies safety issues in cleanroom and immediately acts and informs management of potential results. Ensure cleanroom employees follow safe work practices.
  • Ensure that adequate cleanroom supplies are available
  • Report on performance metrics.
  • Develop team members and provide performance feedback.
  • Work with cross functional departments to implement safety, quality, customer services, and productivity improvements.
  • Lead meetings to prioritize, plan and communicate production activities to achieve goals.
  • Support the introduction of new products and processes.
  • Maintain awareness and comply with the Quality Management System, ISO 13485, CFR for Medical Devices, and any applicable laws and regulations as they apply to the position.
  • Performs Batch Record review to ensure all data entries are present and comply with cGMP before submitting documentation to Quality for final release.
Required Competencies:
  • Strong mechanical assembly aptitude
  • Experience operating automated assembly equipment.
  • Ability to teach, train and coach employees.
  • Strong computer skills (Office 360)
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma (AS degree preferred)
  • Experience supervising in a manufacturing environment; preferably with medical device, ISO 13485
  • History of production experience, team development to achieve goals, reading blueprints and work instructions, and setting up production equipment
  • Prior experience with production paperwork, inventory controls, GMP/GDP, and workforce planning
  • Attention to detail, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic math skills
  • Proficiency with
Microsoft Office:
Excel, Word, Teams
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

Physical demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly required to stand; walk; sit; grip, grasp, twist, pinch, press, and pull objects, tools, or controls. The ability to work with solvents, adhesives, and lubricants. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
Work environment:
Work performed in a cleanroom environment with strict adherence to PPE and hygiene procedures. This person may be asked to perform repetitive tasks or do computer work for extended periods of time. The employee may be exposed to production machinery noise, fumes, or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration
Pay:
$30.00 - $35.00 per hour
