    2 months ago Description SkillsetGroup is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to work in the city of Woodland, CA area.

The Production/Manufacturing Supervisor oversees employees in a manufacturing setting, managing tasks such as assigning work, implementing policies, and recommending improvements in production methods and working conditions. They coordinate activities related to picking, preparing, and shipping products, as well as receiving materials into the facility. Additionally, they dispatch shipments to trucking companies. Production/Manufacturing Supervisor Direct Hire Opportunity

Pay:

$67-101/yr. + 15% Bonus dependent on production and targets met.

Hours:

Monday

  • Friday, occasionally a Saturday, flexibility to work OT
    2nd shift: 2:30pm
  • 12 am (shift 3:00 pm
  • 11:30 pm).
M-F Requirements:

High School Diploma and Supervised up to 12 employees.

3+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, production, shipping, or steel-related industries preferred

Lead daily production, shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations

Supervise and coach manufacturing and shipping teams to drive productivity and maintain a positive work environment

Coordinate production schedules and communicate across departments to meet customer demands

Ensure compliance with safety procedures, PPE requirements, and quality standards Monitor inventory levels, maintain FIFO processes, and oversee product quality inspections

Partner with maintenance teams to coordinate equipment repairs and preventative maintenance

Manage employee training, cross-training, attendance, and performance reviews

Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail required

Ability to improve processes, resolve operational issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives

Strong communication, computer, and basic math skills required

Bilingual
