Metalex LLC is looking for a Production Supervisor for our Libertyville facility. The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production. This role involves coordinating personnel, managing workflow, maintaining equipment readiness, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a commitment to safety and quality. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining quality and safety standards. Monitor equipment performance and coordinate with maintenance to minimize downtime. Train, coach, and evaluate team members to build a high-performing workforce. Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular safety audits and meetings. Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation. Collaborate with engineering, quality, and logistics teams to resolve issues and improve processes. Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing). Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Position Requirements
3+ years in a Manufacturing background.
3+ years' experience in fast-paced production operations and management, order fulfillment, and inventory management.
1+ years' experience as a leader/manager. Bilingual in Spanish, highly preferred but not required
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations methods and practices.
Excellent communication skills, fluent in both English and Spanish is preferable.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Inventory (SAP) software.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to problem solve, multitask, prioritize, and delegate.
Strict attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Responsible, ethical, honest, positive, upbeat, and approachable.
Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety best practices.
Lean Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement training
