We're Hiring:
Blending Supervisor | Shreveport, LA Omni Specialty Packaging is seeking an experienced Blending Supervisor to join our manufacturing team in Shreveport, Louisiana . This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is passionate about safety, quality, operational excellence, and developing people .
What You'll Do:
- Lead daily shift operations within the Blending Department
- Communicate production goals, expectations, and performance metrics to the team
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Lead pre-shift meetings and support required safety training
- Oversee blending and production schedules to ensure products are ready for production and bulk shipments
- Coach, develop, and hold team members accountable for performance
- Manage staffing, schedules, and training based on operational needs
- Investigate safety, environmental, and quality issues and support corrective actions
- Identify process improvements and opportunities to increase efficiency
- Partner with other departments and plant leadership to support overall production goals
What We're Looking For:
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience in manufacturing or another fast-paced environment preferred
- Blending, production operations, or process manufacturing experience preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, organization, and decision-making skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and solve problems effectively
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
