In-Person Join a Growing Beverage Manufacturing Team Sunberry Paw Paw Beverages Limited LLC is seeking a hands-on, results-driven Shift Production Supervisor to lead production operations during our Mid Shift. This role serves as a key leadership position, providing operational support and continuity between production shifts while ensuring safety, quality, efficiency, and employee engagement. The ideal candidate will have experience in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or other regulated manufacturing environments and possess strong leadership skills, a continuous improvement mindset, and a passion for developing teams. Ensure production schedules are executed safely, efficiently, and on time. Monitor production performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Coordinate with warehouse and maintenance teams to ensure operational readiness and minimize downtime. Facilitate effective communication and shift handoffs between production teams. Build and Develop Teams Provide leadership, coaching, and day-to-day direction to production employees. Train team members on safety, quality, operational procedures, and company expectations. Promote accountability, teamwork, and employee engagement. Address employee concerns and support a positive workplace culture. Drive Continuous Improvement Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to improve productivity and reduce waste. Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, efficiency, and cost reduction.
Utilize Lean tools such as:
5S Kaizen Root Cause Analysis Standard Work Waste Reduction Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and use data to improve operational performance. Food Safety & Quality Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements. Verify adherence to GMPs, SOPs, and company quality standards. Partner with the Quality Assurance team to maintain product quality and regulatory compliance. Investigate quality concerns, document findings, and implement corrective actions. Safety & Compliance Promote and maintain a safe work environment. Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements, company policies, and food safety regulations. Conduct safety observations and training activities. Investigate safety incidents and implement preventive measures to reduce risk. Reporting & Documentation Maintain accurate records of production output, downtime, waste, safety incidents, and employee performance. Prepare daily production reports and communicate operational results to management. Support audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications Required High School Diploma or GED. Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or regulated manufacturing. At least 1-3 years of supervisory, lead, or team leadership experience. Knowledge of manufacturing operations, food safety practices, and quality standards. Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Preferred Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Organizational Leadership, Engineering, or a related field is strongly preferred. Beverage manufacturing experience. Experience with Lean Manufacturing methodologies, and continuous improvement programs. Knowledge of HACCP, SQF, GMPs, and food safety systems. Experience leading manufacturing teams in a high-volume production environment.
