Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic 3rd Shift Production Lead to oversee manufacturing operations during overnight hours. In this pivotal role, you will lead a team of production associates, ensuring that manufacturing processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement initiatives, uphold quality standards, and maintain a safe working environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence production outcomes directly while fostering a motivated and disciplined team culture. Duties Interpret blueprints and job orders to workers, and assign duties Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules. Analyze and resolve work problems, or assist workers in solving work problems. Maintain time and production records. Monitor safety standards in production areas, enforce safety protocol adherence, and conduct regular safety audits to prevent accidents Monitor workers use of SPC system. Inspect and measure parts and products to verify conformance to specifications. Interface with others in the organization to ensure customer deadlines are met. Operates lift truck, weighs parts on scale and completes necessary paperwork. Skills Proven experience in factory or manufacturing facility operations with a strong understanding of production workflows Skilled in using measuring instruments for quality control purposes Ability to interpret production documents accurately and follow detailed instructions Strong leadership skills managing production or assembly teams with a focus on safety and productivity Technical proficiency in operating manufacturing equipment and understanding mechanical systems Join us as a 3rd Shift Production Lead where your expertise will shape efficient manufacturing processes while fostering a safe, motivated team environment.
