Duties Supervise and coordinate production line activities during the 2nd shift, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Manage and motivate assembly line teams, fostering a collaborative environment focused on quality and productivity. Monitor production processes using measuring instruments and technical drawings to ensure specifications are met precisely. Utilize power tools, hand tools, and mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues and support mechanical assembly tasks as needed. Enforce safety protocols in accordance with industry standards, conducting regular safety audits and training sessions for team members. Interpret manufacturing documents, work orders, and technical drawings to maintain accurate production flow. Lead process improvement initiatives utilizing lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste, increase efficiency, and enhance product quality. Qualifications Proven experience in a manufacturing or factory setting, with a strong understanding of production workflows and assembly processes. Hands-on experience with forklift operation, warehouse procedures, and manual handling techniques. Familiarity with measuring instruments, technical drawings, and interpreting production documentation. Mechanical knowledge combined with experience using hand tools, power tools, and performing mechanical assembly tasks. Demonstrated ability to manage production or assembly teams effectively while maintaining high safety standards. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and process improvement strategies. Ability to adhere strictly to safety protocols in a fast-paced environment involving heavy lifting and manual handling tasks. Strong organizational skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings and utilize manufacturing management systems effectively.
