The supervisor acts as the key link across Planning, Production, Warehouse, Purchasing, Sales, Customer Service, and Quality, communicating production priorities, schedule changes, material constraints, and delivery risks clearly and proactively, and works with Sales and Customer Service to align production priorities with realistic shipping commitments. The role also supervises warehouse and material-handling personnel, sets clear daily priorities, maintains accountability for safety, inventory accuracy, and process adherence, and analyzes deviations between plan and actual results to drive corrective action.
