The supervisor is responsible for achieving objectives, budgets, Standard Work Practices, production standards, scheduling of personnel, quality, shipping and receiving, daily inventory management, safety, and sanitation/housekeeping requirements. The position requires the supervisor to occasionally fill in for limited periods of time to operate sortation equipment, painting equipment, hostling, and operation of a forklift. The supervisor must be available to work shifts with starting times around the clock including weekends and holidays. Essential Job Functions Direct report to the operations manager. Achieving production allocations Lean efficiencies 6S compliance Employee discipline Pest Control. Recycling programs Develop and implement sanitation/housekeeping programs meeting 3PL standards. Quality Compliance Training Transportation issues Facility maintenance deficiencies Security issues Company/3PL Best Practices Clerical functions Recordkeeping Facility Inspections Product integrity issues
