Provide the necessary leadership to ensure all production functions are being completed in accordance with SQF standard and the department policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
Ensure that all elements of Food Safety within the plant are being met Trained in Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) and have knowledge of each line's CCP Maintain compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) of the Company Responsible for food safety Produce products at specific rates for each piece of machinery while maintaining quality standards set forth by the Company Trained in all aspects of line equipment, including ability to troubleshoot equipment breakdowns Ability to train staff in all aspects of line production, including cleaning practices, inspection criteria, safe equipment operation, and GMPs Identify and maintain balance of staffing resources to production schedule Responsible for accurate reporting of skid production; resolve any discrepancies prior to end of shift Review and sign off on all production paperwork Encourage growth and career development of team and individual employees Perform corrective actions (CAs) and place Counter Measures and Corrective Actions in place to eliminate defects. Work with shift Sanitarian to ensure all levels of cleanliness are being maintained Report any discrepancies in HACCP programs, Allergen Programs, Sanitation Procedures, GMP findings, Foreign Material Findings and HOLD procedures to Quality Assurance Manager. Other duties as assigned including serving as a backup for critical job functions that ensure compliance with SQF. In the occasion(s) when key personnel responsible for designated role is absent, someone of appropriate authority and experience has been assigned to cover their nominated duties to ensure the integrity of the

Possess mechanical/electrical aptitude/analytical skills to trouble shoot and repair equipment breakdowns Be able to work a flexible schedule as determined by workflow Be an effective team player, as well as the ability to work independently Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong attention to detail Must possess above average problem-solving skills Safety Sensitive Position
