Job Description

Overview A leading manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations within a high-volume production facility. This role will be responsible for leading production teams, ensuring safety and quality standards are met, driving operational efficiency, and supporting on-time production goals. This is a hands-on leadership position with full accountability for shift performance, employee supervision, production scheduling support, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong floor presence, the ability to coach and develop employees, and experience driving accountability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Shift:
2nd shift Responsibilities Lead and supervise daily production operations on assigned shift Maintain strong floor presence and employee accountability Ensure safe, efficient, and consistent operation of production equipment and processes Support on-time delivery and production schedules Promote and maintain high-quality standards throughout the manufacturing process Train, coach, and develop production associates Complete employee performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback Verify daily labor times and department staffing needs Participate in continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives Partner cross-functionally to reduce process variation and improve operational performance Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and company procedures Assist with accident investigations and corrective actions when necessary Support scheduling activities to meet production and shipment demands Handle confidential and sensitive employee matters professionally Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management Experience Associate's Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered 5+ years of manufacturing or production experience 3+ years of supervisory experience within a manufacturing environment Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations professionally
Pay:
From $72,000.00 per year
