Steel-toe shoes required Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Production Foreman to oversee daily manufacturing operations in a fast-paced production environment. This position is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production across manufacturing lines while meeting production schedules and customer requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong manufacturing experience, hands-on leadership skills, and the ability to troubleshoot production and quality issues while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Production & Process Management Review daily and weekly production schedules to ensure safe, efficient, and productive operations. Monitor Key Process Variables (KPVs) and identify and correct off-process conditions. Review product specifications and establish appropriate process settings, including catalyst levels, temperature profiles, and line speeds. Manage raw material supply, including resin, fiberglass, and catalysts. Calculate raw material consumption for production batches. Ensure accurate recording of production and process information. Quality & Continuous Improvement Work with the Quality Department to inspect finished products according to applicable ASTM standards. Participate in customer complaint investigations and corrective actions. Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma methodologies. Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency and product quality. Leadership & Training Supervise and direct hourly production employees. Train and onboard new employees. Provide guidance to production personnel regarding process controls and operating standards. Promote teamwork, accountability, and strong performance standards. Support cross-training to maintain production coverage. Safety & Compliance Ensure compliance with all safety and hygiene requirements. Enforce plant safety policies and safe work practices. Support quarterly and annual raw material inventory counts. Maintain a safe and productive manufacturing environment. Qualifications Manufacturing experience with a strong understanding of production processes. Strong communication and leadership skills. Ability to motivate and effectively direct employees. Strong organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. Ability to troubleshoot production and product-quality issues. Understanding of manufacturing formulas and processes. Forklift operating experience required. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and internet-based systems. Ability to climb stairs and ladders and work at heights. Ability to safely move throughout a manufacturing facility. Ability to regularly lift 50+ lbs. Work Environment Work is performed inside a manufacturing facility that is heated but not air-conditioned . Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment and wearing required PPE, including steel-toe shoes. Success in this position will be measured by production uptime, line efficiency, product quality, reduction of off-grade material, raw material usage, cost control, safety performance, and overall team effectiveness. #
