You will leverage your technical expertise to mentor staff, streamline assembly workflows, and ensure that complex electrical equipment meets rigorous industry standards. Responsibilities Coordinate daily production workflows and delegate tasks to ensure assembly targets are met on schedule. Mentor team members through hands-on training, skill development, and the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives like 6S and Kaizen. Review complex engineering drawings, schematics, and bills of materials to identify potential issues before production begins. Collaborate cross-functionally with quality assurance and engineering teams to resolve technical discrepancies and drive process optimizations. Oversee quality control checkpoints, ensuring all finished products adhere to safety protocols and ISO compliance standards. Manage material procurement and purchase requisitions to maintain an efficient supply chain for ongoing projects. Facilitate team meetings focused on safety, quality initiatives, and effective communication of production goals. Required Skills 8+ years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment. Advanced proficiency in interpreting single and three-line electrical drawings and symbols. Strong working knowledge of ERP or MES software for part lookups and documentation. Ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform tasks involving heights or ladder work. Proven leadership experience in training, evaluating, and guiding production personnel. Preferred Skills Demonstrated success in leading continuous improvement or lean manufacturing projects. Experience with complex engineering change management and technical documentation. Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on identifying and correcting part discrepancies.
