Production Manager / Lead Craftsman

Job Description

Production Manager / Lead Craftsman Lead day-to-day production of our prebuilt luxury saunas from start to finish. Work hands-on as a skilled finish carpenter while leading and training other craftsmen. Read architectural drawings, shop drawings, cut lists, and material takeoffs. Coordinate production schedules to keep builds on time and moving efficiently through the shop. Oversee framing, exterior cladding, interior sauna woodwork, benches, doors, windows, trim, and finish details. Maintain a high standard of finish carpentry and craftsmanship across every sauna. Perform quality-control inspections throughout the build and before units leave the factory. Manage material organization, inventory, tool readiness, and shop workflow. Identify ways to make our saunas easier, faster, and more cost-effective to manufacture without sacrificing quality. Collaborate with design, engineering, procurement, and installation teams to solve production issues. Help develop repeatable manufacturing processes, jigs, templates, checklists, and build standards. Maintain a clean, organized, professional, and safe factory environment. Take ownership of the finished product—if something isn't right, catch it and fix it before it leaves the shop. Help build and develop the production team as volume grows.
