Job Description
Job Summary Extension Inc is seeking a 2nd shift Production Supervisor to lead operations for our client in Fort Atkinson, WI! This position is responsible for overseeing teams of 20+ employees, with a focus on KPI monitoring, continuous improvement, and a desire to help with the growth of their business! Responsibilities Lead daily paint department operations to achieve production goals Drive safety, quality, productivity, and delivery performance Manage employee performance, coaching, corrective actions, and development plans Support hiring, onboarding, and workforce development efforts Monitor production schedules and labor allocation Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives Collaborate with maintenance, quality, scheduling, and engineering teams Qualifications Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience (2 minimum in leadership) Associate Degree preferred Strong performance management experience Experience leading larger production teams Knowledge of powder coating systems or paint line operations is a plus Strong data entry/computer skills Ideal Candidate Strong driver personality who can hold teams accountable Comfortable managing a diverse workforce Effective coach and communicator Thrives in fast-paced manufacturing environments Willing to work up to 55 hours a week Focused on safety, employee development, and operational excellence
