JOB DESCRIPTION

Helps with daily production, shipping and receiving activities. Works under the direction of the Shipping Lead and Production Lead to quickly and accurately get product bottled, assembled, packed & shipped. When required, perform exceptional customer service for internal and external customers related to shipping and production. Process orders in the shipping system as needed. Help track inventory. Accurately track and fill out paperwork. Job Duties/Responsibilities (Job duties include, but are not limited to the following):

• Work to ship daily orders neatly, on-time and with proper entry and tracking
• Perform production tasks daily for bottling and filling containers, to include: filling, labeling, capping, gift box assembly and re-packing boxes.
• Help to manage safe loading/unloading of freight and materials
• Expedite orders thru the production, picking and shipping process as needed
• Help provide a clean, safe working environment for all personnel and visiting customers
• Maintain a positive attitude in a fast paced environment
• Work in a team setting to accomplish company goals
• Perform scheduled cleaning, including: bathrooms, sink, production room, and shipping area
• From time to time, operate a computer and shipping system

COMPANY OVERVIEW

Wild Groves is a gourmet food company in Newcastle, with a focus on Extra Virgin Olive Oil from California and balsamic vinegar imported from Modena Italy. The company has both wholesale and retail sales, with most sales coming from their website (direct to consumer sales). There is also a new tasting room open everyday but Sunday.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

( Qualifications):

• Ability to perform physical labor (bending, climbing ladders, standing for long periods of time, lifting up to 50 lbs, etc.)
• General knowledge of freight, shipping, and production preferred, but not required
• Some PC skills
• Must be detail oriented, organized and work well in a fast paced, multi-tasking, customer service minded environment
• Must have good verbal and written communications and organizational skills
• Must display sense of appropriate urgency, ability to work under pressure, with attention to detail
• Must be able to work overtime from time to time (mostly in November & December)
• Part-Time and Full-Time Seasonal Positions Available
• (Seasonal position with potential for permanent position)

Job Types:

Full-time, Part-time Pay:

$18.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 40.0 per week
