Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Associate to join our team on a part-time basis. In this dynamic role, you will support the production process by assembling components, working with metal fixtures, and ensuring safety standards are maintained throughout your shift. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while contributing to high-quality product output. Your proactive approach and mechanical aptitude will help drive efficiency and continuous improvement within our manufacturing facility. Responsibilities Assist with assembly line tasks, ensuring components are assembled accurately according to technical drawings and production documents. Use measuring instruments and hand tools to verify dimensions and quality of parts during assembly processes. Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and production documentation to ensure precise manufacturing operations. Perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting and moving materials within the factory environment to support production flow. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, following safety standards in production areas. Support process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting enhancements to streamline operations. Skills Proven experience working in a manufacturing or factory environment with familiarity in assembly line processes. Must be able to use calipers and read measurements such as tape measure and blueprints. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments accurately. Experience managing or supporting production teams, with an understanding of manufacturing management principles. Strong knowledge of safety standards in production environments, including safety protocol adherence and lean manufacturing practices. Ability to interpret technical drawings and technical documentation with precision. Skilled in using forklifts, with certification preferred but not mandatory; training provided if necessary. Excellent manual handling skills, including heavy lifting and managing materials safely within a busy factory setting. Technical proficiency with manufacturing equipment, process documentation, and continuous improvement methodologies.
