6:00am-4:30pm QPS Employment Group has a great Production-Metals position available at a company in West Burlington, IA. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire. Production-Metals Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Complete assembly of products according to work orders.
• Perform assembly functions using hand tools and power tools.
• Fasten parts together using bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners.
• Brush-paint products when required by work orders.
• Work at different workstations as production needs change.
• Grind product pieces as necessary.
• Identify parts used on the assigned product line and understand proper placement on the finished product.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
• Use pallet jacks to move products throughout the facility.

Production-Metals Requirements:

• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively throughout the shift.
• Ability to stand for a 10-hour shift.
• Ability to work in a hot environment.
• Ability to work effectively with others.
• Basic skills in using handheld power tools and measurement devices.
• Ability to communicate clearly—both verbally and in writing—with coworkers and supervisors.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced production environment.
