Cedar Mountain Shims is looking for a dependable, hardworking individual to join our production team. This position will primarily involve operating saws used in the production of wood shims, along with packaging finished products and helping with general production duties around the shop. This is a hands-on manufacturing position and a good fit for someone who enjoys staying busy, working with their hands, and being part of a small production team. Responsibilities Operate production saws and other shop equipment safely and efficiently Package, bundle, and prepare wood shims for shipment Inspect finished products for quality Stack, move, and organize materials throughout the production area Keep the work area clean and organized Perform basic adjustments and routine maintenance on equipment as needed Follow established safety procedures Help with other production and shop tasks as needed Qualifications Previous saw or manufacturing experience is helpful but not required . We are willing to train the right person. Applicants should be dependable, able to show up consistently and on time, comfortable working around machinery, and capable of performing physical work throughout the day. The job requires standing for extended periods and regularly lifting and moving materials.
