Job Description

Machine Operator / Line Lead / Process lead-Elwood At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Machine Operator / Line Lead / Process Lead to work with a leading logistics and manufacturing company in Elwood. This role is responsible for the daily performance, productivity, and output of a candy manufacturing or packaging line, leading a team of 6 to 25 associates to ensure products meet customer specifications and quality standards. Shift patterns 3rd shift Sunday to Thursday, 10:45 pm to 7 am Pay rates 23.00 USD hourly Must-have requirements for Machine Operator / Line Lead / Process Lead More than 6 months of Lead or management experience Experience with production machinery such as baggers, conveyors, wrappers, or scales Ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues and line jams Must live within 40 minutes of the site Desirable requirements for Machine Operator / Line Lead / Process Lead Bilingual proficiency Strong team player with excellent communication skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment Role for Machine Operator / Line Lead / Process Lead Lead, coach, and support a team of 6 to 25 production associates Assign associates to workstations based on skill level and production requirements Perform and document hourly quality audits including product weight and seal integrity Identify and resolve minor equipment issues to minimize downtime Ensure compliance with food safety, GMP, and workplace safety requirements Benefits for Machine Operator / Line Lead / Process Lead Professional growth and leadership development opportunities Stable work environment in a fast-paced facility Opportunity to work with a global logistics leader
