$21/hr Job Description Join our team as a Manufacturing Operator, where you will be trained to work in four diverse areas: Assembly, Lapping, Conveyance, and Shipping/Receiving. Responsibilities Perform mechanical assembly on various products including pumps and valves. Work off drawings and diagrams to assemble parts. Handle small parts and metal pieces using hand and power tools. Conduct quality checks on products, including first piece, in-process, and final assembly and inspection/testing. Lift heavy materials up to 25 pounds. Essential Skills Experience in assembly, packing, and using hand and power tools. Ability to work in a warehouse and production environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Entry-level candidates are welcome, but must pass basic math and English tests, and a dexterity test. Comfortable with lifting 25 pounds. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waukegan, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
