Manufacturing Associate CoWorx Staffing - 3.4 Hopkinton, MA Job Details $20 - $22 an hour 4 days ago Qualifications Buffing Press operation Defect detection (quality control) Maintaining an organized workspace Labeling English Personal protective equipment (PPE) adherence Manual packaging Manufacturing standard operating procedures Assembly Quality issues Manufacturing Clean workspace maintenance Visual inspection for quality control Safety standard operating procedures Entry level Full Job Description CoWorx is looking for Manufacturing Associates on 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift in the Hopkinton, MA area! This position will be performing a variety of production functions, including operating a press, buffing of parts, assembly of parts, inspection of parts produced and packaging. This job is performed under the supervision of the shift supervisor or shift lead person.
Responsibilities:
The operator is responsible for all safety procedures including the wearing of all required personal protective equipment. Read and follow work instructions and procedures. Inspect all parts produced for defective attributes. Package and label products accordingly. Keep the work area clean and orderly.
Desired Background/Skills:
Possess the ability to follow directions from and communicate with supervisors, technicians, lead person and co-workers in a professional manner. Ability to comprehend and train to documents such as work instructions, safety rules, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals written in the English language. Have the ability to recognize quality issues. Have the ability to work effectively independently, or as a team member with co-workers. Strong hand-eye coordination.
