•full-time, long term! Position SummaryWe are seeking motivated and detail-oriented SMT Operators to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining Surface Mount Technology (SMT) equipment used to produce electronic assemblies. The ideal candidate has experience in electronics manufacturing, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Set up and operate SMT production equipment, including: Screen PrintersGlue Dispensing MachinesPick-and-Place MachinesReflow OvensPerform SMT machine changeovers and make adjustments for various product types and production requirementsPrepare component kits for manufacturingClean printed circuit boards according to established proceduresPerform basic soldering and SMT component rework (training provided as required)Conduct visual inspections of SMT assemblies to ensure product qualityInterpret

standards and customer specifications to verify product acceptabilityMaintain accurate production and job tracking recordsUse hand tools safely and effectively, including screwdrivers, pliers, cutters, and related equipmentMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaFollow all company safety procedures and promptly report unsafe conditionsSupport team members by assisting with production issues and training coworkers as neededPerform additional duties as assigned to support business operations
Qualifications and Experience:
Required:
High school diploma or GEDAbility to work in a manufacturing environment with attention to detailAbility to read and interpret assembly drawings and work instructionsMechanical aptitude and ability to use basic hand toolsStrong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsAbility to work accurately while meeting production goals
Preferred:
Previous electronics manufacturing or SMT experienceBasic soldering experienceFamiliarity with Surface Mount Technology (SMT) assembly processesExperience operating automated SMT equipmentKnowledge of
