Shift:

1st Shift - 7:00 AM until end of shift Job Summary We are seeking dependable Production Associates for a full-time temp-to-hire opportunity in a food production environment. This position supports production line operations and requires individuals who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards for safety, sanitation, and product quality. This is a temporary, seasonal opportunity with an anticipated start date in August or September 2026. The initial assignment is expected to continue through Thanksgiving 2026. Staffing levels may decrease during November/December, and some temporary positions may end during that period based on business needs. A second production ramp-up is anticipated to begin in January 2027 and continue through approximately June 2027. Candidates must understand and agree to the seasonal nature of this assignment and the possibility that their assignment may end during the November/December period before the anticipated January 2027 ramp-up. Responsibilities Assist line leaders with daily production activities and workflow. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area. Identify production issues and communicate concerns to leadership. Help ensure products are prepared according to customer specifications. Meet or exceed established production standards. Monitor production performance and productivity goals. Prepare, cut, and repackage products. Operate production equipment such as potato peelers and bag sealers. Clean and sanitize floors, tables, cutting boards, equipment, and other work areas. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures. Follow GMP and SQF requirements. Work cooperatively with team members and production leadership. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required. Previous warehouse, food production, manufacturing, or processing experience preferred. Experience in a high-volume production environment is a plus. Understanding of food processing procedures preferred. Knowledge of GMP practices preferred. Ability to safely handle knives, peelers, and hand-operated equipment. Basic computer skills. Effective verbal communication skills. Bilingual candidates are preferred. Willingness to learn lean manufacturing processes. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and/or move 25-50 lbs. safely and consistently. Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to work in a cold and wet environment, approximately 36°F. Must arrive properly dressed and prepared for cold working conditions. Work Environment This position is performed in a cold and wet food production environment. Employees are expected to maintain a clean and safe workspace while meeting production and quality standards. Assignment Information This is a temp-to-hire opportunity. The assignment may involve seasonal production needs, with additional production periods expected throughout the year.
