This role is essential in driving production efficiency, maintaining safety standards, and fostering a collaborative team environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead diverse teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while ensuring safety and operational excellence. Primary Responsibilities Supervise and monitor the performance of machine and assembly operators to ensure productivity, quality, and safety standards are met. Follow and enforce all safety policies and procedures. Follow and enforce quality standards and requirements. Train and onboard new team members on shift operations, processes, and safety expectations. Communicate effectively and collaborate with team members across departments. Identify opportunities for process improvement, address operational issues, and ensure all production documentation is accurate and up to date. Verify newly printed labels and revisions for accuracy and compliance. Maintain accurate production records and documentation. Ensure Material Handlers and Process Technicians complete proper documentation during work order changes. Perform visual inspections of products for defects such as short shots, flash, contamination, and other quality concerns. Notify Process Technicians of any product quality issues requiring corrective action. Conduct routine area walkthroughs to ensure cleanliness, organization, and adherence to housekeeping standards. Foster a positive team culture by recognizing employee contributions, promoting teamwork, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Quality Responsibilities Provide effective quality support to plastic injection molding and assembly operations. Collaborate with engineers, technicians, supervisors, and production personnel to resolve day-to-day issues, achieve operational goals, and promote quality standards. Utilize MME procedures, work instructions, forms, and other Quality Management System (QMS) elements to ensure compliance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements. Initiate and support change requests to improve product quality, processes, and documentation. Perform final product inspections to verify conformance to specifications and quality standards. Complete additional duties and special projects as assigned by the supervisor. Qualifications and Skill Requirements High school diploma or GED required. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and provide valid identification. Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a plastic injection molding manufacturing environment. Previous experience as an MME Group Machine Operator III preferred. Ability to read and interpret production instructions, policies, safety procedures, correspondence, and business documents. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to perform intermediate mathematical calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and working with decimals and units of measure.
