Marijuana Production/Packaging Staff Packaging Staff are the backbone of LPC production; he or she assists the Kitchen Manager, Lab Manager, Director of Cultivation, and General Manager with production depending on the assigned5 department/shift. Production Staff are paid @ $19/hr minimum for the first two weeks while training, and then will be paid on a piece rate. Those rates can be found below, production stations are listed below with the corresponding rates. An average rate of +$25/hr for production employees across all stations was established to arrive at these rates (without bonus incentives).

13) + $0.06 Sticker The production staff's main responsibility is to follow instructions and LPC SOPs to manufacture, process, and/or package marijuana products. A minimum average of $19/hr will be maintained if changes to manufacturing are made without notice. Historically employees always do better than $19/hr on a bad shift and can earn as much as $25+ depending on the shift. Full time employees are required to work 40 hours a week under the supervision of the Production Manager. Part time employees are asked to work 20+ hours a week with a flexible schedule, the only requirement is that there is a manager onsite. The manager is usually on-site 7 days a week. The hours discussed above are guaranteed hours that the company will provide Production Staff are responsible for following and maintaining all CCD laws and regulations. Laws and regulations are listed on the CCD, any questions, comments or concerns can be taken up directly with the Compliance Manager. Production Staff have Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) tracked daily, monthly and quarterly. These KPI's will be used to apply goals, bonus structures and accountability. Any of these responsibilities, duties and/or requirements are subject to change at any given point in time by the GM and/or Operations Director as pertaining to production needs, company policy changes, staffing requirements and/or job performance. Responsibilities Follow all operational rules, regulations, policies, and procedures to advance the company's mission, vision, goals, and objectives Performing all harvest, trimming, cleaning/equipment maintenance Preparing cannabis flower by grinding and blending it to the correct consistency for rolling Crafting consistent, high-quality joints and blunts manually, meeting daily production targets utilizing automated rolling equipment to produce joints in various sizes, ensuring proper weights and consistency. Packaging trimmed cannabis into containers for distribution and sale Applying Labels to products that comply with state regulations and accurately reflect the product's contents and potency. Recognizing and following quality control procedures to ensure products meet safety and quality standards. Performing routine maintenance on production equipment. Following all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment Cleaning and maintaining work environment and all equipment, tools, and work areas to ensure a hygienic environment Working effectively with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines Clear communication of any issues, concerns, or observations to management or other operators The ability to adapt to changing production needs and business requirements is important Attention to Detail
  • Production staff must be meticulous and detail oriented to ensure product quality and consistency.
Cultivation assistance will be required per harvest and schedule needs. Cultivation assistance consists of but is not limited to pruning, harvesting and trimming. Qualifications and Requirements Basic knowledge of cannabis products, strains, and consumption methods Basic Knowledge of products carried in-store Minimum twenty-one (21) years of age Must possess a valid driver's license or government Identification (ID) Must pass any required background checks Must possess current state cannabis worker license or permit Maintain a well groomed appearance. LPC Production Staff start @ $19/hr for two weeks before moving to piece rate Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Detail-oriented with strong organization skills Responsible for completing daily tasks assigned by Manager A positive attitude and a passion for helping others. Ability to work alone or as a team. Physical requirements include but are not limited to Standing for long periods of time Ability to lift up to 45 pounds (as needed) Ability to shovel snow in the winter Ability to read fine print Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to various cannabis products Daily, Weekly
