Job Overview We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Cannabis Edibles Manufacturing Associate to join our production team in Missoula. This is a hands-on manufacturing position focused on producing, packaging, and preparing regulated cannabis edible products in a clean, organized, and quality-driven production environment. Previous cannabis experience is not required. Experience in food production, commercial kitchens, beverage manufacturing, breweries, bakeries, packaging, dietary supplements, warehouses, or other production environments is highly relevant. What matters most is that you can follow a process, pay attention to details, keep a clean workspace, work well with a team, and consistently produce high-quality work. Responsibilities Assist with production of cannabis edible products according to established recipes, formulas, SOPs, and production schedules Accurately weigh, measure, stage, and prepare ingredients and production materials Operate basic production, filling, packaging, and labeling equipment Fill, package, label, case, and prepare finished products for inventory and distribution Follow batch records and document production activities accurately Perform basic in-process quality checks including weights, counts, packaging integrity, and product appearance Maintain accurate product and inventory records Follow all state cannabis regulations and internal compliance procedures Clean and sanitize production equipment, tools, work surfaces, and manufacturing areas Follow food-safety, sanitation, personal hygiene, and contamination-control procedures Receive, organize, and stage ingredients, packaging materials, and production supplies Assist with inventory counts and material tracking Identify and communicate production problems, quality concerns, equipment issues, or inventory shortages Help maintain an efficient, organized, and professional production environment Assist other members of the production and operations teams as needed

Required Qualifications:

Must be 21 years of age or older Ability to pass required background checks Current Montana Cannabis Worker Permit, or ability to obtain one Strong attention to detail Ability to accurately follow written recipes, formulas, instructions, and SOPs Comfortable performing repetitive production tasks while maintaining consistency and accuracy Ability to work safely around manufacturing and food-production equipment Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a production team Comfortable standing for extended periods Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 lbs. Willingness to maintain strict cleanliness and sanitation standards Helpful Experience Previous experience in any of the following is a plus: Food or beverage manufacturing Commercial kitchens Baking or confectionery production Breweries or beverage production Dietary supplement manufacturing Cannabis manufacturing Packaging or bottling operations Warehouse or production environments Quality control Inventory management Batch production or process manufacturing We are happy to train the right person What Makes Someone Successful in This Role The strongest manufacturing employees are people who: Care whether something is made correctly, not just whether it gets finished Follow processes consistently Notice when something looks, smells, weighs, or behaves differently than expected Keep their workstation clean and organized without being asked Understand that accurate documentation is part of manufacturing Communicate problems instead of hiding them Can move quickly without becoming careless Work well with others during busy production days Are willing to learn new equipment, products, and processes Compensation $17.00-$22.00 per hour, depending on experience and demonstrated manufacturing capability. The range is designed to accommodate different levels of experience: Candidates who are new to manufacturing but demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to learn production processes will generally begin toward the lower end of the range. Candidates with meaningful experience in food, beverage, production, manufacturing, quality, packaging, or similar environments may qualify toward the upper end of the range. Previous cannabis experience by itself is not required for higher compensation. We value transferable manufacturing skills, process discipline, and the ability to consistently produce quality work.
