In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and installing structural steel, ductwork, piping, and other metal components. Your skills will help ensure the safety, durability, and quality of our structures while adhering to strict industry standards. This is an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals passionate about construction, fabrication, and metalwork to make a tangible impact on large-scale projects. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications and welding requirements Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and welding techniques with precision and consistency Fabricate metal components using hand tools, power tools, press brake machines, plasma cutters, and machining equipment Install structural steel, ductwork, pipe systems, and sheet metal assemblies on construction sites or in manufacturing environments Operate rigging equipment, scissor lifts, boomlifts, and forklifts to move heavy materials safely and efficiently Measure materials with calipers, micrometers, and basic math skills to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly Follow ASME codes & standards for welding quality and safety compliance while maintaining detailed records of work performed Requirements
YOU MUST BE A US
CITIZEN, this is to work on a Military Base. Proven construction site experience with a strong understanding of safety protocols Proficiency in various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, FCAW, and welding Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, plasma cutting equipment, press brake machines, and rigging operations Mechanical knowledge related to pipe threading, soldering, machining processes, and assembly procedures Experience working with sheet metal fabrication, ductwork installation, or similar manufacturing tasks Basic math skills for measurements and calculations necessary for precise fabrication Valid certification or demonstrated experience in crane operation and forklift driving is preferred Bring your own tools Join us in building strong structures that stand the test of time!
