General Production Worker - 2nd Shift We are hiring a General Production Worker for a manufacturing facility in North Wilkesboro, NC. This is a hands-on production position involving machine operation, material preparation, material handling, and general manufacturing duties. Previous manufacturing experience is preferred but not required. Candidates with mechanical aptitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

Onsite Responsibilities Depending on assignment, duties may include: Prepare and handle materials for production Operate conventional machinery such as lathes, mills, surface grinders, and drill sharpeners Assist with CNC/Komo machine operations Read and understand blueprints and technical drawings Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers Perform basic mathematical calculations and measurements Complete preventative maintenance inspections at the beginning of each shift Move, stage, and handle materials throughout the facility Perform general warehouse and production duties as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Follow established safety and production procedures Work overtime as needed to meet production and customer demands Qualifications Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, or machine operation experience preferred Manufacturing experience is not required Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings is a plus Comfortable learning to use measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers Basic math skills Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Ability to follow instructions and work safely Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly Ability to team lift materials weighing more than 50 pounds Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Willingness to work overtime when needed
