Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Production Worker to join our dynamic manufacturing team in the food and beverage industry. Duties Operate machinery and equipment in accordance with safety standards and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines to ensure food safety and quality. Assist in food processing, packaging, and labeling activities while maintaining sanitation and hygiene standards. Monitor production lines for adherence to HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) protocols and regulatory compliance standards. Conduct quality checks throughout the production process, ensuring products meet established quality standards in accordance with FDA regulations. Maintain accurate documentation of production activities, including batch records and sanitation logs, utilizing systems such as SAP. Support sanitation efforts by cleaning equipment and work areas regularly to uphold safety standards in production. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals while managing safety and quality assurance requirements. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing manufacturing processes and reducing waste. Follow all safety procedures diligently, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and reporting hazards promptly. Assist with inventory management related to raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods. Skills Knowledge of FDA regulations, HACCP, CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), and food safety management systems. Experience with food processing plant operations within the food industry or manufacturing environment. Familiarity with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems for production tracking. Strong understanding of quality assurance standards in food production and manufacturing management principles. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and record keeping. Effective communication skills for managerial coordination and team collaboration. Commitment to safety standards in production environments, including sanitation practices. Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while maintaining efficiency. Prior experience managing or working within food & beverage production teams is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability for continuous improvement practices within a manufacturing setting.
