This client is a manufacturer of insulation products.

Schedule:

1st - 7:30am to 4pm, Monday to Friday Some flexibility with working hours/part time hours available

Pay Rate:

$16.00 Per Hour Job Duties

• Produces Product by use of machine; fabricates insulation products
• Assures operational status of machine at beginning of shift.
• Review production work orders to determine type and quantity of production materials needed.
• Sets up appropriate equipment making necessary adjustments/loads/feeds material into machine.
• Removes finished product from machine.
• Loads finished product into appropriate shipping containers.
• Maintains accurate count of parts packed.
• Assures quality by comparison of finished product with print or template.
• Inspects completed cartons at end of each job run to assure they are labeled in accordance with work traveler.
• Removes dies not required for next job run.
• Cleans and inspects die.
• Reports any damage to Supervisor.
• Returns die to proper location on die rack.
• Vacuums and cleans work center thoroughly.
• Scans in actual run time, including set-up time.
• Maintains Machine.
• Produces product by Assembly.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent general education degree, or equivalent experience of at least 5 years of machine operation.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English
• Read a ruler to within 1/16 of an inch.
• Accurately complete basic math skills including calculating linear/square footage and work with fractions with aid of a calculator.
• Normal manual dexterity and vision, with or without correction.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds on a regular basis.
• Previous manufacturing/machine operation experience preferred.
• Math assessment test
