We are seeking a talented and customer-focused Graphic Designer / Print Production Specialist to join our team. This role combines graphic design, print production, and customer service responsibilities. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and comfortable working directly with customers to develop, prepare, and produce high-quality printed materials. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys both design work and hands-on production in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Graphic Design Create and edit artwork for print projects. Design business cards, brochures, flyers, banners, signs, promotional products, and other marketing materials. Prepare customer-supplied files for production, ensuring proper formatting and print readiness. Make revisions based on customer feedback and project requirements. Print Production Operate and maintain digital printers, cutters, laminators, and finishing equipment. Set up jobs for production and ensure accurate color output and quality control. Assist with trimming, mounting, laminating, binding, and packaging finished products. Monitor production schedules and meet project deadlines. Customer Service Greet customers and assist them with design, printing, and production needs. Provide recommendations on products, materials, and print specifications. Prepare quotes and process orders accurately. Communicate project timelines, proofs, and order status updates. Resolve customer concerns professionally and ensure a positive customer experience. QualificationsRequired 2+ years of graphic design experience. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Strong understanding of print production processes and file preparation. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment. Preferred Experience in a print shop, sign shop, copy center, marketing agency, or commercial printing environment. Knowledge of large-format printing and finishing equipment. Experience with Fiery Command Workstation and digital print workflows. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and CRM or order-entry systems.
