Job Description

MyWorkChoice is hiring 2nd Shift Assembly Workers for light industrial and manufacturing clients. In this role, you'll assemble, inspect, and package products on a production line while following clear instructions and safety guidelines. Using MyWorkChoice's flexible, tech-driven platform, you can select and manage your 2nd shift schedule within client needs. You'll work in a fast-paced, team-focused environment that values reliability, quality, and communication, with opportunities to learn new stations and support major brands through consistent, high-quality work. Responsibilities Assemble light industrial and manufacturing components on a 2nd shift schedule following written and visual instructions Operate basic hand tools and small production equipment safely and efficiently Inspect parts and finished products for quality issues and report defects or discrepancies Meet daily production, accuracy, and quality targets while maintaining a steady work pace Follow all safety, cleanliness, and 5 S guidelines to keep work area organized and hazard-free Accurately record counts, production data, and any issues using paper or digital systems Collaborate with teammates, leads, and My Work Choice coordinators to adjust to changing workloads and priorities Adapt to different workstations or simple tasks across the line as business needs change Arrive on time and reliably work assigned 2nd shift hours with potential overtime as needed Communicate clearly with supervisors and My Work Choice support about schedule preferences and shift changes Required Skills Assembly line operations Use of hand and power tools Basic mechanical aptitude Reading work instructions and diagrams Quality inspection and defect recognition Production counting and documentation Basic computer or mobile app use Workplace safety and PPE compliance Time management in fast-paced environment Team communication on the shop floor
