Hey there! Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and talented manufacturing team? Look no further! We're on the hunt for a Composites Assembly Technician to join our crew and help us create amazing new products. What's the Job? As a Composites Assembly Technician, you'll be a key player in our manufacturing group. Your main goal is to work as part of a team to keep production running smoothly and meet our manufacturing schedules. You'll be working on one of our manufacturing lines with thermoplastic composites, performing tasks such as compression molding, heat lamination, routing and thermoforming. Additional production tasks include cutting, shaping, product assembly and packaging of large finished goods. We'll be making panels of all sizes, from a sheet of plywood to the size of a bus! This position reports to the production supervisor. 1st Shift 8 hours/ day

- 3:30PM (Two 15 min paid breaks, one 30 min unpaid meal)
What You'll Do:
Assembly of finished products Operate handheld tools like scissors, knives, saws, routers, drills and air tools Package completed products, ready for the customer Keep production tasks on track to meet schedules Read and understand engineering prints to identify critical dimensions Measure and record dimensions to ensure they meet specifications Perform physical tasks like bending, stooping, lifting and sliding up to 100 lbs. Work with plant leadership to develop and maintain best practices Help us improve and maintain organization at work centers Maintain a clean and safe workspace
What You Need:
At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or assembly, or 5 years in the trades High school diploma or GED (technical or engineering degrees are a plus) Basic computer skills (MS Office experience is a plus) Excellent communication skills Self-motivated and able to multitask Broad knowledge of fabrication tools and equipment Strategic problem-solving skills Comfortable working in a growing manufacturing environment Understanding of basic machine components and routine maintenance Team player attitude Forklift certification is a plus
