Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Wire EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining) Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating wire EDM machines to produce precision metal components that meet strict quality standards. Your expertise in interpreting technical drawings, selecting appropriate tooling, and maintaining machine calibration will ensure the efficient production of complex parts. Responsibilities Set up and operate wire EDM machines, ensuring precise cutting according to technical specifications and blueprints. Program CNC (Computer Numerical Control) wire EDM machines using specialized software to achieve desired dimensions and tolerances. Conduct quality inspections using precision measurement instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges to verify part accuracy. Troubleshoot machine issues promptly, perform routine maintenance, and document operational activities accurately. Skills Proficiency in CNC programming and operation of wire EDM machinery with a solid understanding of electrical discharge machining principles. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Experience with measuring instruments for quality control and precision measurement in machining processes. Familiarity with shop math, basic math skills, and safety standards in manufacturing environments.
