Cannabis Production Worker Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Cannabis Production Worker to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a licensed cannabis production facility and a thorough understanding of production workflows, packaging requirements, inventory control, and state compliance. This individual will play a key role in producing consistent, high-quality products while maintaining strict adherence to company procedures and regulatory requirements. Primary Responsibilities Perform all stages of the cannabis production process, including product preparation, weighing, packaging, labeling, and finishing. Operate production equipment safely and efficiently. Ensure products meet company quality standards and state compliance requirements. Maintain accurate production records and inventory documentation. Assist with inventory counts, product transfers, and reconciliation. Verify package weights, labels, and product information for accuracy. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary production environment. Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency and product consistency. Assist in training new production employees on company procedures. Report equipment issues, inventory discrepancies, or compliance concerns to management. Follow all company SOPs, safety protocols, and applicable state regulations. Perform additional production-related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Previous experience working in a licensed cannabis production or manufacturing facility. Working knowledge of state cannabis regulations and compliance requirements. Experience handling cannabis products in a regulated environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Ability to obtain and maintain any required state licensing or credentials. Preferred Qualifications Experience with seed-to-sale inventory systems such as METRC. Experience with cannabis packaging, labeling, and inventory reconciliation. Experience operating commercial production equipment. Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and sanitation procedures. Leadership or team training experience.
