Starting pay $18/hr! Earning potential increases with experience and years of service. We're looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined Digital Cutting Operator to join our production team. This position focuses on operating our automated digital cutting equipment. You'll work with modern production equipment and learn how to turn digital jobs into finished products. Experience with Zünd, CNC equipment, digital cutting tables, or laser cutters. And unlike many warehouse jobs, we offer 11 PTO days in your first year, 8 paid holidays, two paid breaks in addition to your regular lunch, and health, dental, and vision benefits. What You'll Do Set up and operate automated digital cutting equipment, including Zünd cutting systems Load and position rolls and sheets of material Read job tickets, work orders, and production instructions Work with digital cut files and select appropriate tools and machine settings Monitor machines during production and make routine adjustments Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality Change blades, cutting tools, and other consumable components Perform routine cleaning and preventative maintenance Troubleshoot basic machine and production issues Cross-train on large-format printing equipment and provide coverage when needed Work with prepress, design, and production teams to keep jobs moving What We're Looking For High School Diploma or equivalent Mechanical aptitude and an interest in learning production equipment Basic computer skills Strong attention to detail Ability to follow job instructions and specifications Ability to recognize and troubleshoot basic equipment problems Reliable work habits and a willingness to learn Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience That Can Help You don't need to have experience with our specific equipment. Experience with any of the following is helpful: Zünd or other digital cutting tables CNC routers or other CNC equipment Laser cutters Large-format printers Manufacturing or production machinery Adobe Illustrator or other vector-based software CAD/CAM or digital production software If you're mechanically inclined and comfortable learning new equipment, we want to hear from you. Physical Requirements Stand and walk for extended periods of time Bend, squat, reach, and twist regularly Lift and move rolls, sheets, and finished products as needed Schedule 1st shift is available 7-3:30. Shift may change to 8-4:30 for training and staffing needs.
