Pay:

$17.50-18.50 based on experience/shift

Shift:

1st and 2nd shift available Responsibilities Set up and operate presses to produce basic rubber parts Assist in setting up molds on various occasions, ensuring proper alignment and secure installation. Locate and retrieve materials and inserts following established procedures, including signing out preform trays and selecting inserts based on the oldest paint date. Monitor presses for proper time, temperature, and pressure to maintain product quality and consistency. Become knowledgeable about critical areas and quality requirements of parts for all assigned jobs. Lift and move materials and parts weighing up to approximately 40 pounds as part of daily tasks. Carry molded parts to designated staging areas for subsequent operations and processes. Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly, and organized condition. Follow prescribed safety rules, plant procedures, and company regulations at all times. Perform other duties as required and directed to support production and team objectives. Essential Skills 1+ years of experience operating machinery in a manufacturing setting, with extrusion machine experience strongly preferred. Ability to operate molding presses and maintain proper running procedures based on verbal instructions and process sheets. Proficiency in using basic hand tools, including pry bars and measuring gauges, in a safe and controlled manner. Attention to detail for monitoring time, temperature, and pressure settings and completing SPC charts and process documentation accurately. Comfort working in an industrial production environment with older machinery and equipment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $18.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
