Safely operate various types of production equipment. Carry out related manufacturing tasks which include raw material weigh-out, forklift operation, housekeeping, shipping/receiving and facility maintenance Willing to do any manufacturing related job as needed; examples are warehousing, housekeeping, and forklift operation Ability to utilize basic computer skills Training is provided in the operation of the equipment and forklift if an applicant is otherwise qualified.Job Requirements:
Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. for various lengths of timeComfortable operating all production equipment and driving a forklift (current OSHA forklift driver certification is a plus). Capable of multitasking Mechanical aptitudeTraining is provided in the operation of the equipment and forklift if an applicant is otherwise qualified.Job Duties:
Operate machines that mix powdered metals/polymers and extrude into sheeted rolls used in the manufacture of radiation protective garments and shielding.Set and adjust controls to regulate mixing and extrusion process.
