Production Assembly Specialist About GEC:

GEC is an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of aircraft and vehicle weighing systems. We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented individual to join our manufacturing team in SW Arlington.

Please note:

This is a bench mechanical assembly role using hand tools, not a warehouse, packing, or material handling position.

What You'll Be Doing:

Performing hands-on mechanical sub-assembly and final assembly of precision weighing equipment. Utilizing various manual and power hand tools to assemble components according to technical specs. Reading and interpreting travelers and work instructions in English. Standing for extended periods and performing repetitive precision assembly tasks with high accuracy. Collaborating with team members to keep production jobs on schedule.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Required:

1+ years of previous mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.

Required:

Proven proficiency working with various hand tools and reading job travelers.

Preferred:

Experience with aerospace or vehicle component assembly is a strong plus! Punctual, reliable, and possessing a strong team-player attitude. Ability to pass a required background check and drug test.
