Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shop Hand to join our manufacturing team. This vital role involves supporting daily shop operations, assisting with assembly and production tasks, and ensuring safety standards are maintained throughout the facility. The ideal candidate will bring mechanical aptitude, hands-on experience with tools and equipment, and a proactive attitude to help keep our manufacturing processes running smoothly and efficiently. Duties Assist with the assembly of components using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to meet production specifications Interpret technical drawings, production documents, and work instructions to ensure accurate assembly and manufacturing processes Conduct manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting, in accordance with safety standards in production Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workshop or factory floor to promote a safe working environment Support process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting solutions for lean manufacturing practices Requirements Fabrication shop experience knowledgeable on fabrication techniques well versed with power tools - Grinder, Torch, ETC...
