North Creek Smokehouse is hiring a dependable, hardworking Food Production Associate to help produce and package our beef jerky. No previous jerky-production experience is required; training will be provided.

Job duties include:

Preparing raw beef and ingredients for production Seasoning and arranging jerky on smokehouse trays Loading and unloading smokehouse racks Monitoring products and following production instructions Weighing, packaging, labeling and boxing finished jerky Checking finished products for quality and consistency Cleaning and sanitizing equipment, trays, tables and production areas Following food-safety, sanitation and workplace-safety procedures Organizing supplies and maintaining a clean work area Assisting with other production tasks as needed This is an active, hands-on position that requires standing for extended periods, working around raw meat and food-production equipment, and safely moving ingredients, trays and finished cases.

Schedule:

Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend work.

Starting pay:

$14 per hour Work location: St. Hedwig, Texas Reliable transportation and dependable attendance are required.
