Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Quality Control Inspector to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will ensure that products meet strict quality standards and regulatory compliance requirements through meticulous inspection and measurement processes. Your expertise in quality systems, measurement instruments, and industry standards will help uphold our commitment to excellence, safety, and customer satisfaction. Duties Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products using precision measuring instruments such as height gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), vision inspection systems, and other measuring tools. Interpret mechanical blueprints, manufacturing documents, and technical specifications to verify product compliance with design requirements. Perform dimensional measurements and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) analysis to ensure parts meet specified tolerances. Execute quality audits aligned with
ISO 9001, ISO 13485
(medical devices), GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), and FDA regulations to maintain compliance standards. Document inspection results accurately, collect data for analysis, and prepare detailed reports for quality management review. Identify non-conformities or deviations from quality standards in production processes and collaborate with manufacturing teams to implement corrective actions. Support calibration of measuring instruments and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to maintain measurement accuracy across all inspection activities. Qualifications Proven experience in quality assurance or quality control within a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of quality systems such as ISO standards, GMP, or FDA regulations. Proficiency in using precision measurement tools including height gauges, vision inspection systems, GDT tools, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM). Knowledge of mechanical blueprint interpretation and manufacturing documentation is essential. Familiarity with regulatory/legal compliance standards applicable to production environments such as
ISO 13485
for medical devices or HACCP for food safety is highly desirable. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data accurately and perform root cause analysis when issues arise. Mechanical knowledge combined with basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to perform quality audits confidently.
