Job Description

Overview We invite you to become a valued member of AAE team! With 25 successful years in the aluminum extrusion industry, AAE continues to grow and we need you! We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Quality Manager to lead our quality assurance and control initiatives within our manufacturing environment. This pivotal role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's quality management system (QMS) that ensures our products meet the highest standards of compliance and excellence. As a Quality Manager, you will drive continuous improvement, uphold regulatory standards, and foster a culture of quality across all operational facets. Your expertise will ensure our manufacturing processes align with industry best practices, including

ISO 9001.

ISO 9001
Compliance:

Maintain

ISO 9001

certification by ensuring QMS processes are implemented, monitored and improved; conduct internal audits and manage external audits.

Quality Policy & Objectives:

Establish and monitor quality objectives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and reporting performance to management. Develop, revise, and enforce quality policies, procedures, work instructions and control plans.

Process Management:

Define, document, and optimize processes to ensure product/service conformity; integrate quality into all business processes. Ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements, extrusion standards, and profile tolerances.

Supplier Quality:

Evaluate and manage supplier quality performance; ensure incoming materials meet specifications.

Customer Focus:

Respond to customer complaints, implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)

Continuous Improvement:

Lead initiatives to reduce defects, improve efficiency, and enhance quality systems.

Team Leadership:

Train and mentor QA/QC staff on quality standards, ISO requirements, and best practices.

Data & Reporting:

Analyze quality data, prepare reports, and present findings to the management team for decision-making. Qualifications Three to five years of experience in quality management in a manufacturing environment. Post-high school education is preferred.

ISO 9001

Lead Auditor, ASQ Certified Quality Manager (CQM), Six Sigma certification is preferred.

Required Skills:

Strong knowledge of quality management principles and tools. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong leadership and communication skills. Familiarity with quality tools (e.g. 8D, FMEA)

Work Environment:

Ability to work in a manufacturing environment. Ability to lift and move material or parts that weigh up to 50 pounds.
