Job Details We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to establish, lead, and manage quality assurance and quality control functions across our manufacturing facility.
This individual will ensure that garments, textiles, sewn components, and related manufactured products meet customer specifications, regulatory standards, contractual requirements, and internal quality expectations. The Quality Assurance Manager will develop and enforce quality systems, oversee inspection and testing activities, maintain quality documentation, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This role will also lead the Quality Department, support customer and supplier audits, and help create a culture of quality, accountability, and craftsmanship throughout the organization. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement quality strategies, policies, procedures, and objectives aligned with company goals Lead quality assurance and quality control activities across manufacturing, sewing, and assembly operations Establish and oversee in-process, final, and random inspection procedures Ensure compliance with customer specifications, contract requirements, regulatory frameworks, and internal procedures Maintain quality records, defect trends, audit documentation, and corrective action records Lead root cause analysis and corrective and preventive action initiatives Conduct process audits and recommend improvements that reduce waste, defects, and rework Partner with Production, Engineering, Customer Support, Supply Chain, and Purchasing to improve product and process quality Serve as the primary contact for customer quality audits, inspections, and compliance inquiries Support supplier quality by ensuring fabrics, threads, zippers, fasteners, and other components meet established standards Prepare and present quality reports and strategic recommendations to senior leadership Manage, train, and mentor quality inspectors, supervisors, and support staff Develop quality training programs and establish accountability across departments Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Apparel/Textiles, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience 5 to 7 years of progressive quality assurance or quality control experience At least 3 years of quality leadership experience Strong knowledge of quality management systems, auditing practices, ISO standards, and AS9100 Rev D Experience interpreting technical drawings, patterns, specifications, and regulatory requirements Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, project management, and team-development abilities Build-to-print or job shop manufacturing experience is preferred Experience working to government or OEM specifications is highly beneficial A bit about us:
