Manager, Quality Summary The Quality Supervisor communicates the Quality Mind-set, policies, procedures, specifications, government and industry standards to ensure the product and manufacturing processes is in alignment with those requirements. Responsible for the monitoring and reporting of internal processes, examining products to determine their quality, engaging with customers, and gathering product feedback. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Employee engagement and transparency creating a culture that answers 'why' and drives ownership to all levels of the business.
  • Ensures work environments are safe, organized, and meet legal obligations.
  • Reviews customer product specifications, procedures and warranty contracts, ensure compliance to those requirements.
  • Ensure manufacturing documentation includes customer and internal requirements to ensure first time quality product.
  • Oversee inspections of products and provide training of team members requiring guidance.
  • Support new product launches and advance development projects to identify opportunities for improvement and deviations from current quality standards.
  • Compile feedback from customers and prepare reports communicating customer satisfaction.
  • Outline initiatives that align with company goals.
  • Stay current on industry and product trends to identify growth and improvement opportunities.
  • Environmentally and socially astute, always considering opportunities to reduce carbon footprint and supporting community activities/events.
  • Ensure training and support growth in team members' career path.
  • In alignment with CMMC AT.L2-3.2.1, 3.2.2, and 3.2.3 , this role involves access to Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) at the highest security level. The individual must perform all assigned tasks in a manner that ensures no exposure of unclassified information to unauthorized personnel.
  • Successful completion of all required ITAR, CMMC, and Cybersecurity training is mandatory
  • Proactively interfaces with other departments; sales, production, logistics, EHS, engineering, human resources, purchasing and finance.
  • Performs other duties as required and/or requested.
Supervisory Responsibilities The Quality Supervisor is responsible for product qualification, continuous improvement, and industry compliance to standards (ISO-9001).
This role supervises the following:
  • Quality Engineer-New Product
  • Quality Engineer-Warranty
  • Quality Assurance
  • CMM/Lab
  • Quality Inspector Competencies
  • Strong computer skills in MS Office products and ERP (preferably SAP Quality Module/Domain)
  • Proactive and positive communication skills (verbal and written) that motivate and drive results.
  • Enjoys following procedures, training others to those procedures and enforcing compliance to the procedures.

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or related field. 8 years of direct experience in similar role and industry in leu of education.
  • 5 years of direct related experience required. Language Skills English is the primary language. Other Qualifications (not required but helpful)
  • Lead Auditor Certified (ISO-9001/TS16949)
  • Knowledgeable in
ISO-22163
(Rail) Work Environment
  • This role is visible on both the manufacturing floor and office work environments.
Manufacturing is impacted by environmental conditions to include colder working temperatures in the winter and extreme heat in the summer. Standing and walking in excess of 2 hours. Noise levels may be elevated in some work centers, protective shoes and visual protection required, PPE is available and provided by the company.
  • Office is environmentally controlled. 4-6 hours of sitting in meetings and working on a computer.
  • Able to carry/move up to 25 lbs safely.

Pay:
$75,000.00
