Quality Supervisor

Job Description

Key Responsibilities Review production, quality, shipping, and receiving checks in the QMS, and drive any deviations or corrective actions to resolution Assist the Quality Manager with customer complaint investigations, internal, third-party and regulatory audits, and progress toward our Ready-to-Audit facility goal Monitor sanitation programs and records on a weekly basis, including trend analysis, and support the Production Coordinator with traceability as needed. About You You're detail-oriented and consistent. You know quality is won or lost in the small, repeatable checks done right every shift, and you don't let things slide because they seem minor. You stay calm under pressure when something goes wrong on the floor, a hold, a complaint, a deviation, and you know when to resolve it on the spot versus when to escalate to the Quality Manager. You're comfortable holding the line with production teams. You enforce GMPs and pause work when something's off, even when it isn't the popular call at the moment, and you do it in a way people can hear. You ask "why" until you find the real cause, not just the fastest fix, and you document what you find clearly enough that the next person doesn't have to solve it twice. You're a fast learner who picks up new systems and processes quickly, and you're comfortable navigating QMS, ERP, and other software tools as a core part of the job. Role Responsibilities Supervise FSQA and Sanitation activities, including training and performance. Oversee daily quality, sanitation and warehouse inspections. Review and approve production, quality, sanitation, shipping & receiving records/checks in QMS(Safety Chain). Manage product retains, in-house gluten testing, and quality equipment calibration. Monitor quality trends and metrics and drive continuous improvement. Support internal, Regulatory & third-party audits (FDA, MDA, SQF, Organic, GFCO, and Kosher). Support traceability, mock recalls, product trials, and process validations. Assist with shelf life sample pulls and coordination of testing. Train production employees on GMP, food safety, sanitation, and quality requirements. Collaborate with Production and other departments to resolve quality and food safety issues. Report quality trends, risks, and significant issues to the Quality Manager. Provide Quality Department coverage and leadership in the Quality Manager's absence.
